Ahuti was released in the year 2014 by Krupakar Senani, the Green Oscar awardees. The novel is based on an incredible true story of a journalist who brought out an enormous smuggling scandal of Nagarahole forest in the 90s. The story revolves around a Journalist and a Forest Ranger who go into the night forest of Nagarahole to catch hold a group of wood smugglers. Not knowing anything about this operation, a group of youngsters go on an adventure night ride in the jungle and get stranded. A blazing fire rises amidst the summer jungle due to the battle between the smugglers and the Forest officers which then goes on burning everything in the path. Even though the smugglers don’t get caught, the Ranger involved in these activities will be caught and will be fired from his authorities.
Kalbettada Dharodekoraru is a fiction which was released in the year 2015 by B Suresh, a renowned movie maker, and Mr. Jogi, a popular writer. The novel has also come out as a Kannada Feature film by the same name. The story is based on a myth of Burglars who occasionally attack a nearby village Hanagodu. This myth relives as the entire village believes that the burglars are back in different forms and are robbing them. There is also a world of children in the village who fight for silly reasons who end up going to the mysterious Kalbetta along with which the novel ends with finding the real burglars.

This book was launched in 2017 by Veteran actor and director Mr. Nagabharana. The novel begins with a miraculous escape of a prisoner from Kalahari prison. The young detectives find a diary in the prisoner’s cell reading which they get the answer to the Prisoner’s escape. A physicist Subrahmanya Rao experiments on bringing the Deja Vu Phenomenon to reality amidst a jungle along with Gilbert who is his assistant and also the protagonist of the story. Sharade, daughter of Subrahmanya Rao also joins them to make the experiment. They succeed too. The novel is in the form of non-linear narration which makes it interesting for the readers and helps in taking a journey of Deja Vu world.
